1. Who is the course for?

2. What skills, knowledge, or experience do I need to start this course?

There are no formal entry requirements, but learners may benefit from having completed a Level 1 or Level 2 qualification in Digital Skills or IT. Centres will assess learners� suitability based on their age, ability, and capacity to meet assessment criteria. 3. What will the course cover?

The course covers six mandatory units including: an introduction to cyber security, terminology, legal and ethical aspects, common threats, methods of maintaining security, and working with others in cyber security. Learners will explore key concepts such as social engineering, encryption, firewalls, user access control, and team communication in a cyber security context. 4. What should I be able to do by the end of the course?
